Menagerie, by
Jared/Jensen/Danneel - 15k – NC-17
Danneel's a badass soldier-type taking asylum where the standard marriage unit has three members; Jared and Jensen, who hire her as a bodyguard for their restaurant/theater, are a lonely couple looking for a third. Danneel is fabulous here, and I found the author's exploration of the premise pretty interesting. Plus, yay for m/m/f fic from the lady's perspective!
There's a Hell of a Good Universe Next Door, by
Jared/Misha – 8k – PG-13
The science fictional entry on this list. Jared is on a pilgrimage to earth; the captain of the ship he's hired is, rather alarmingly, human. There's alienness and bonding and a metamorphosis (complete with chrysalis), and this is just in all ways a delightful space jaunt.
Shelter, by
Jensen/Danneel – one art piece – SFW
Jensen is a hooker with a puppy in trouble; Danneel works at the local animal shelter. I love their expressions and the choice of muted colors, and most of all I love the scenario.
so high above you, by
Gen/Adrianne – 5k – PG
In which Gen is a flight attendant on the Christmas red-eye, and Adrianne is a movie star on her flight. Cue flirtiness and blushing and adorableness at 30,000 feet. Entirely darling.
A Promise to Misrule, by
Jensen/Danneel – one-shot – PG-13
If Jensen wants to be a member of the ton, then he needs a better tailor; this Harris person supposedly is one. Only Harris turns out to be a woman dressed in male attire, and that isn't even the biggest shock Jensen has while having his measurements taken oh-so-thoroughly. Delightfully narrated, always delicately phrased, this fic teases in the most delicious way.
