Podfic Roundup for March 2015

Sign ups for podfic_bingo started on March 1st! You can request a bingo card until September 1st, and there will be additional monthly challenges for participants.

[community profile] welovepodfic is hosting the 4th Annual Podfic Feedback Challenge during the first two weeks of April! Preparation for the postcard challenge is going on now, so submit your info if you’re interested! [personal profile] dodificus, who runs the Feedback Challenge, also asked on twitter for ideas about new mini-challenges.

amplificathon began its annual Amplificathon challenge this week. It’s a points based, multi-fandom challenge that focuses on rare podfic ships and fandoms. The challenge lasts until April 30th!

Additionally, the Audiofic Archive is currently looking for volunteers!

Auralphonic posted their fourth podcast this week, and the topic was Feedback!

pt_lightning’s Round 6 reveals went up at the beginning of the month, and you can check out the masterlist here. One SPN podfic was created for the challenge and it’s included in the roundup below!

There’s still plenty of time to sign up for cakehole_club’s Cakebang and podficbigbang’s Epic Podfic Big. And you can participate as either an artist or podficcer. Check out the comms for more info!

Roundup of SPN & SPN RPF podfics posted February 16, 2013 to March 18, 2015

(I’ve gathered these podfics from amplificathon and spn_cwrpfpodfic. I’ve also included podfics posted only to [community profile] amplificathon; if you posted to both the DW and the LJ communities, I’ve used the LJ links. If you posted at one of these comms between the aforementioned dates, you should be on this list! Additionally, if I remembered a podfic that hasn’t yet been crossposted to these communities, I’ve included links to personal journals. I also tried to catch podfics that were posted only on AO3. Please let me know if I’ve made an error or missed something!)

Deja Vu
Author: faviconTry2CatchMe
Reader: faviconsilkylustre
Pairing: Dean/Cas, Sam/Gabriel
Rating: G
Length: 00:23:00
Summary: Sam and Dean were relatively used to unwelcome guests in their motel rooms. Whether they appeared near-silently, like angels, or with a dramatic flair, like Henry, people and creatures were always inviting themselves in. It was why Sam always kept a gun on him and was relatively sure Dean was never without at least six kinds of weaponry. / Still, all the people who'd showed up before had something in common. They never appeared in a flash of light, falling from the ceiling and landing in a groaning heap of limbs and cloth on the kitschy motel carpet. / "What the-?" Sam was on his feet instantly. / Dean was already pulling out his gun, "Great, not this shit again. Who the hell are you two?" / Sam had to give kudos to his brother for being able to identify how many people were in the pile, because all he could see was cloth and blindly groping hands.
